A Posnan registration card records Isaac's arrival from Myslowitz in February 1890 and lists his family: wife Martha geb. Rahmer and sons Herbert and Rudolf and daughter Meta, all with their dates and places of birth.

The 1914 Gleiwitz address book (page 61) lists an "Ino (Isaak) Nothmann" as the co-owner of a freight forwarding company in Cosel.
