Joseph Brauer's wife is named in JRI-Poland records as Henriette Gassmann at the birth of Oscar (1873), and as Goldine Gassmann at the birth of Selma less than a year later. I assume that these are the German and Hebrew names of the same person.

Her death certificate names her as Goldine Brauer geb. Gassmann, wife of Joseph Brauer, daughter of Ascher Gassmann and his wife Helene geb. Prager of Himmelwitz.

Goldine died aged 75 years 10 months, so born 1843.
