Borinski reunion in Israel organised by Annelise (Ora) Borinski in 1982

Notes

Anneliese is listed the 1939 census of Berlin under her maiden name at Bozener Strasse 17; no other obvious family members are listed at this address.

After completing studies at the Jewish Seminary in Berlin, at the age of 23 she came to Ahrensdorf to work as a Maccabi Hatzair youth leader at a training farm set up to prepare Jewish youth for life on Kibbutz in the land of Israel. With other leaders and members of the organisation, she was deported to Auschwitz concentration camp in 1943.

Kaethe Danziger (geb. Halberstaedter) says she was released from Auschwitz concentration camp; her story on the Yad Vashem website says she escaped from the death march from Auschwitz in January 1945.

She subsequently emigrated permanently to Palestine/Israel.
