Abraham left Langendorf for Boronow in 1839. The movement record includes the comment Sohn der Hirschel Loebel Katz der ihm jedoch bei Aufnahme der jüdischen Familie glieden nicht angegeben hat, auch ist der Abraham Katz nicht im jüdischen geburtsbuch eingetragen. - "Son of Hirschel Loebel Katz, who did not mention him when the Jewish family members were admitted, nor is Abraham Katz recorded in the Jewish birth register". The movement record cites family number 1733, which was allocated to Hirschel.



His gravestone mentions the name "Zwi", a cognate of Hirschel, in the line of text below his own name. It gives his date of death a 7 Shevat 5658 (22/01/1896) and says he died in his 83 rd year (that is, 82 years old), so he was probably born 1813-14.
