From the Sohrau records, Delowicz describes Loebel as an arendarz (lessee or publican).

Following the births of his first three children, Loebel and his family moved from Sohrau to Preiswitz on 26.08.1828.

JRI-Poland's records give him the following occupations:

1830-31, 1864: butcher, shopkeeper, trader in Preiswitz;
1833, 1839: butcher and innkeeper in Preiswitz;
1835, 1865: inkeeper in Preiswitz;
1844: bartender in Preiswitz;
1872: innkeeper in Klein Zabrze.
