Following the births of his first three children, Loebel and his family moved from Sohrau to Preiswitz on 26/08/1828.

JRI-Poland's records give him the following occupations:

1830-31, 1864: butcher, shopkeeper, trader in Preiswitz;
1833, 1839: butcher and innkeeper in Preiswitz;
1835, 1865: inkeeper in Preiswitz;
1844: bartender in Preiswitz;
1872: innkeeper in Klein Zabrze.
