Not mentioned in Kaethe Danziger (geb. Halberstaedter)’s "Bertha Gassmann" notes. Mara Thorson names him as Jacob, and this is confirmed by his Gleiwitz residence card.

Living in Cosel when he married in 1882. Witnessed the marriage in Cosel in 1910 of Adolf Wolff and Marie Schlesinger.
