Lived in Berlin-Wilmersdorf during Kaethe's early childhood. Georg's employment from about 1909 to 1933 as a shop manager in the Salamander shoe store chain took them to Kiel and later in Wiesbaden. (According to Kaethe's Stammbuch they were in Wiesbaden when she married in 1919.) Later they returned to Berlin.

Died in Berlin on Yom Kippur, cremated in Berlin.
