Named in daughter Rahel's and son David's marriage records; both records identify Jakob as a brandy distillery lessee, albeit that Rahel's record puts the family in Myslowitz in 1818 while David's record puts Jakob in Langendorf in 1820.

The name change from LENKAUER to LANGE is recorded in the JRI-Poland record of Aaron and in records of the family's moves in 1836 and 1838 which name Jakob as Jacob Salomon Lange (see David's page).
