Hermann and Alma were deported from Breslau to Auschwitz concentration camp on 04.03.1943 along with children Bernhard and Edith.

The Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930) and his daughter's testimonial give his date of birth as 23.12.1866; German Federal records give 23.10.1866.
