In the 1939 census of Cosel Ernestine is listed at Nikolaistrasse 38, Erdg. along with (among others) her sister-in-law Hedwig Boss geb. Nothmann
and Hedwig's daughter Hertha Proskauer geb. Boss and son-in-law Josef Proskauer.



Ernestine died unmarried. Ernestine's date of birth is give as 17/09/1857 in her death certificate and 16/09/1857 in the transcription of her entry in the 1939 census, while her brother Siegmund Salomon's date of birth is given on the copy of his marriage certificate as 18/09/1857. They were clearly twins and born within a day of 17/09/1857.
