Aged 23.75 years when he married in June 1837 so born late 1813.



JRI-Poland has records of his move with his wife, Rosel Glass, from Sohrau to Langendorf in June 1837, and from there to Peiskretscham with his wife and son, also Simon, born 05.05.1838, in September 1838. The records of both moves name his father as Marcus and give him the same naturalisation number as Joseph, also a son of Marcus.

His widow agrees that his first wife was Rosalie geb. Glass but names his father as Jacob (Hebrew) rather than Marcus (German), and gives his age at death as 82 years 4 months so born October 1812 rather than 1813.
