Marie is listed in the 1939 census of Breslau at Opitzstrasse 6. Among many others at this address is a Meta Nothmann, born 24.09.1884 in Kolmar, who was deported from Breslau to Auschwitz concentration camp on 04.03.1943; her relation to "my" Nothmann family is not known. Also at this address are Max and Helene Seidemann as well as another Seidemann family.

Marie was deported from Breslau to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 26.07.1942 and thence on 23.09.1942 to Treblinka extermination camp.
