Notes

Kaethe Danziger (geb. Halberstaedter) says he was in Berlin, but originally from Schoetmar, Westphalia, and that he was deported by the Nazis.

Adolf and Eveline are among many peoples listed in the 1939 census of Berlin at Spichernstrasse 20; no other obvious family members are listed at this address.

Yad Vashem has a testimonial to Adolf Rosenwald, wife of Ella Borinski, which states that he was deported from Berlin in 1942.

Yad Vashem also lists an Adolf Rosenwald born 12.02.1866 from Schoetmar who was deported from Berlin to Theresienstadt on 14.09.1942, prisoner number 6792; Ella Rosenwald, geb. Borinski was prisoner number 6793 on the same transport. Adolf died in Theresienstadt on 07.12.1942; Ella endured another 10 weeks before perishing.
