When he reported the death of his mother in 1908 he was described as a student of philosophy. When the death of his brother Max was anounced in 1915 he was a dentist in Jauer.



In 1946 he travelled alone to visit Mr and Mrs Hennings (his sister Getrud and her husband?); giving a home address in Jerusalem and his occupation as dental surgery.
