Bruno was wounded in service during the First World War.

Bruno and Frieda are listed in the 1939 census of Berlin at Mommsenstrasse 22; among many other residents at this address was Frieda's brother Stefan. Bruno and Frieda were transported from Berlin to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 31.08.1942 with her husband (who died there), then to Auschwitz concentration camp on 12.10.1944.
