The 1900 census gives their dates of birth (month and year) and year of immigration (1866); it also places Martha's birth (1872) in Wisconsin. The 1880 census of Sparta, Monro County, Wisconsin reveals another daughter Emma (11), who is not listed with her parents in the 1900 census.
