Before her marriage, Helen lived in Gleiwitz at Kloppotstrasse 4 from 1915 to 1928, apart from brief periods in Breslau and Beuthen in 1927 and 1928. From 1931 to 1933 she again lived in Gleiwitz, living at Bahnhofstrasse 33, Hindenburgstrasse 2, Kurze Gasse 2, Bahnhofstrasse 33 again, and Germaniaplatz 8. According to her last Gleiwitz residence card, she emigrated to England in 1939.
