The relationship of these Nothmanns to the rest of the family has not yet been discovered; however, the fact that Siegfried's father came from Gross Strehlitz and his mother's maiden name is Richter may indicate a connection to
- Samuel Nothmann (born 1839) who died in Gross Strehlitz and was married to Johanna Richter;
- Leopold Nothmann who was born in Gross Strehlitz ca. 1850 and was married to Lina Richter.
