Lived in Klein Zabrze where he was a teacher in the Jewish school and synagogue leader for many years, retired in 1925 to Breslau where he lived at Goethestrasse 50 in ca 1930.

Emigrated to Amsterdam in 1939. Deported to Westerbork transit camp on 29/09/1943 and to Theresienstadt on 25/02/1944.
