Gleiwitz residence card

Her Gleiwitz residence card says she lived at the Jewish Altesheim (old people's home) at Kirschstrasse 2 until 1942 when she moved (or was forced to move) to Niederwallstrasse 17, a Jewish community building adjacent to the synagogue which formerly accommodated a care home and Jewish community offices, and which was used as a ghetto pending deportation.

An entry in the Gedenkbuch says that Selma was deported from Gleiwitz to Auschwitz concentration camp on 08.06.1942.
