Edith was recorded as aged 27 years in the 1950 census so born 1922-23, which also lists her mother, Elii Latte, aged 54 years. However, she was recorded as aged 31 years 4 years earlier when she sailed to the US with her mother, who was then aged 51 years, in 1946, so born 1914-15. Her social security records, which also name her parents, give her date of birth as 08.12.1922
