| Notes At the time of the 1939 census Ernst was living in Berlin at Glanzstrasse 1; no other obvious family members are listed at this address. Ernst was deported from Berlin to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 11.08.1944, to Auschwitz concentration camp on 28.09.1944, to Buchenwald concentration camp on 16.11.1944 and thence to Meuselwitz concentration camp where he died.
