Christopher's middle name appears to be Mento in the 1851 census, however there is circumstantial evidence that he was named after his uncle Christopher Minto.

Shipwright at Harriet's marriage and at his death, aged 70y.
genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk has a record of Wayman Watson marrying Jane Pattison on 26/05/1816; given the dobs of Mary's children this could have been as much as 10 years before he married Mary. familysearch.org confirms Mary as the mother of Margaret and Mary Jane.
