Died aged 73 years 5 months so born early 1823.

Her death certificate, which is a copy of the original, identifies her parents as Nathan Capauner and Johanna geb. Cober. I have found no other record of Nathan, and other records that mention Johanna geb. Cober/Kober have her married to Lachmann Capauner. Lachmann died in 1856, long after Auguste's birth, so this rules out Johanna having married her deceased husband's brother (a common Jewish practice). I suspect therefore that "Nathan" is in fact Lachmann.
