A partner in M Prager Blaudruck- und Schürzenfabrick, Rybnik, presumably founded by his grandfather Moritz Prager.

Like his father, Ludwig was a town councillor in Rybnik.

Later he moved to Breslau, living at Garvestrasse 6 with his son Walter in ca 1930. Invoices for maintenance of his wife's grave in 1931 and 1932 give his address as Herdainstrasse 28. The 1935 Breslau address book shows the M Prager textile business, now at Gartenstrasse 3, is owned by Ludwig's son Walter who lives with him at Herdainstrasse 28.
