Notes

Surname derived from Paula's married name in Yad Vashem records. Given name (Callmann) derived from the 1939 census which records him at the same address (Berlin, Thomasiusstrasse 15) as Paula. Diminutive (Karl) derived from the witness to his son Walter's first marriage.

Callmann was deported with Paula from Berlin to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 09/09/1942; he died there a few weeks later.
