Her sister's testimonial, which names her parents as Heinrich and Regina, gives her birth in Klein Mochbern (now part of Wroclaw) on "14.II.1904" using roman numerals for the month, as was common in German script of the time. mappingthelives.org also gives "14.02.1904"; but places her birth in Klein Mangersdorf which is much closer to Opole than to Wroclaw.

The Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930) has an entry for her at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Strasse 88/90 with a date of birth of "14.11.04" and her 1932 marriage certificate records her birth on 14 "November" 1904 in Klein Mochbern, Breslau.
