Alfred and Hedwig are listed in the 1939 census of Oppeln at Hafenstrasse 19, along with Walter Orgler born in Oppeln on 23.04.1910, presumably their son.

Alfred and Hedwig were deported from Oppeln to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 21.04.1943 and thence to Auschwitz concentration camp on 28.10.1944.
