JRI-Poland has two Rybnik records of their marriage, the second in Kornowatz on 22/08/1826. It is likely that one of the weddings was Jewish, while the other was civil.

Notes

JRI-Poland has two Rybnik records of Simon's marriage to Mine Spiegel, daughter of baker Baruch:
- the first marriage took place in Sohrau on 12/03/1825; Simon is described as a businessman and son of Baruch.
- the second took place in Kornowatz on 22/08/1826; Simon is described as an innkeeper, son of Simon.
It is likely that one of the weddings was Jewish, while the other was civil. In both cases, the name ascribed to Simon's father is likely to be erroneous, since three records of the couple's moves in 1830, 1832 and 1834 all name Simon's father as Isaac.
