Erna married medical doctor Hans Biberstein (b. 04/12/1889) in Breslau in 1920. She is listed under her own name in Breslau address books from 1921 to 1936 as a medical doctor, living at Michaelisstrasse 38. Hans appears separately in the Breslau address books, both at Michaelisstrasse and later at Kaiser Wilhelmstrasse 80. Hans is listed in the Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930) with Erna at Michaelisstrasse 38 with their widowed mothers and Erna's sisters Rosa and Elfriede.
