The last digit of his year of birth is missing in the JRI-Poland transcription but is provided in his Glewitz residence card.

Parents: Siegfried Gerstel and Bertha geb. Juliusberger.

Prior to his marriage Georg lived with his widowed mother in Glewitz at Bahnhofstrasse 6.

- Caezilie geb Fuchs born 29/11/1899,
- Charlotte born 30/09/1937,
- Kurt born 12/01/1903.

Kurt and Caezilie subsequently moved to Neudorfer 1, where Caezillie died. Kurt and Charlotte then moved to Germaniaplatz 8, where they were joined by Rosa Helene Gerstel geb. Davids born 15/06/1907; all three then moved to Oberwall 14.
