Advertisements placed by Hugo in 1907 and 1909 give his address as Gleiwitz, Neiderwallstrasse 6 and he gave same address in December 1908 when he reported his father's death. The 1909 advertisement shows that he is involved in the sale of pharmaceuticals; adverisements placed by his brother Oscar relate to the same line of business.

In March 1912 Hugo placed an announcement that his business had relocated to Bahnhofstrasse 25, and an advertisement in 1930 quoted the same address. His Gleiwitz residence card gives the same address from March 1912 and also records his death.

Other residence cards citing the same address were issued to:
• Selma Wienskowitz geb. Karliner, born 08/03/1879 in Stollarzowitz;
• Oskar Wienskowitz, born 07/06/1863 in Langendorf;
• Fanny Wienskowitz geb. Lewy, born 28/11/1865 in Tarnowitz;

Selma, Oskar and Fanny were deported from Gleiwitz to Auschwitz concentration camp on 20/05/1942.

Oskar's date and place of birth suggest he is a brother of Hugo. He and Fanny have the same sequence of addresses, suggesting they are husband and wife.
