Albert Gassmann
| Notes  Birth announcement in Der Oberschlesische Wanderer, Jg. 36, No. 47, 24 November 1863, page 1  Advertisement in Technischer General-Anzeiger für den Oberschlesischen Industrie-Bezirk, Jg. 3, No. 15, 1 May 1897, page 5 Factory owner; lived in Breslau at Gartenstrasse 51 in 1920 when he reported the death of Simon Davidsohn and in ca 1930 (next door to Simon Staub), and later at Viktoriastrasse 104.  Annulment of German nationality Albert and Selma and their son Kurt fled to the Netherlands, living at Beethovenstraat 103, Amsterdam by early 1941, around the corner from his brother Richard Gassmann. Albert and Selma were deported from Westerbork transit camp to Auschwitz concentration camp on 07.09.1943; where they were murdered on arrival.
