The Tarnowitz record clearly gives his date of birth as 02.08.1854, but muzeum-miejskie-zabrze, citing the same parents, gives 10.07.1854.
The Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930 ) lists a Leopold Katz, born 11.07.1854 married to a Minna geb. Zerkowski.
