Parents: Martin Gumpert and Margarete geb. Neufeld.

In the 1939 census of Berlin Alfred and Paula were living at Mommsenstrasse 35 with Paula's parents as well as Guenter born 23.05.1921 and Gerhard born 29.09.1924 who I assume to be their sons.

Guenter emigrated to New Zealand, Gerhard to Great Britain.

Alfred and Paula were deported from Berlin to Riga on 19.01.1942, where they died. Each is commemorated by a Stolperstein at Berlin-Charlottenburg, Mommsenstrasse 35.
