In the 1939 census of Berlin Alfred and Paula were living at Mommsenstrasse 35 with Paula's parents as well as Guenter born 23/05/1921 and Gerhard born 29/09/1924 who I assume to be their sons.

Guenter emigrated to New Zealand, Gerhard to Great Britain.

Alfred and Paula were deported from Berlin to Riga on 19/01/1942, where they died. Each is commemorated by a Stolperstein at Berlin-Charlottenburg, Mommsenstrasse 35.
