Her surname is spelt NEBEL in the record of her marriage, Moritz's birth and death certificates and Johanna's birth certificate; but NIEBEL in JRI-Poland records of the births and deaths of her children Henriette, Dorothea and Rosalie and in birth certificates for Simon, Henriette, Dorothea and Rosalie.

Probably born between 1860 (hence aged no more than 42 years when her last child was born) and 1870 (hence aged no less than 17 years when she married).

Her marriage record names her mother as Linna, but does not record her father; on this basis she may be the Rosalie NEBEL whose birth on 28.08.1859 in Kostow, Pless to Lene NEBEL (but no named father) is recorded in JRI-Poland.

Rosalie probably died giving birth to her daughter in 1902; hence her daughter being named after her, Rosalie's disappearance from the records, and Charlotte's appearance in her place as Herrmann's wife.
