Kaethe Halberstaedter shows Betty as a daughter of Lea Halberstaedter, Fritz Halberstaedter shows her as a daughter of Lea's sister Henriette (whom Kaethe doesn't mention). IN, a descendant of Betty Rueckert geb. Fraenkel confirms Fritz's version.

IN, a descendant of Betty Rueckert geb. Fraenkel, citing a relative, says that Betty trained as an opera singer and had a concert career.

Aged 33y when she married in 1894, so born 1860-61.
