Paul and Valeska are listed in the 1939 census of Beuthen at Kasernenstrasse 4 which was a Jewish old people's home.

Valeska, her son Erwin and Erwin's wife and children were deported from Beuthen to Auschwitz concentration camp on 28.05.1942, two days after the death of Valeska's husband Paul.
