Paul and Valeska are listed in the 1939 census of Beuthen at Kasernenstrasse 4 which was a Jewish old people's home.

Valeska, her son Erwin and Erwin's wife and children were deported from Beuthen to Auschwitz concentration camp on 28/05/1942, two days after the death of Valeska's husband Paul.
