Isidor's first wife, Jenny geb. Mandowski, died a week after giving birth to Ernst. Isidor subsequently married Jenny's sister, Bertha.



Isidor is described as a Brauereibesitzer (brewery owner) at both his 1866 and 1871 marriages. In 1882 his bewery was offered for sale through a Ludwig Mandowski in Ratibor. There were two contemporary people of this name in Ratibor; I assume this one is Isidor's father-in-law.
