A testimonial by his daughter agrees with JRI-Poland regarding the identity of his parents and his place of birth, but gives his date of birth as Succoth 1862, which Yad Vashem interprets as 09.10.1862 whereas JRI-Poland has 20.10.1862.

The testimonial says Max was married to Pauline geb. Tichauer, lived in Gleiwitz and was murdered in Auschwitz concentration camp in 1942.



His Gleiwitz residence card also gives his date of birth as 09.10.1862.

A transciption of a deportation list confirms Max's deportation on 20.05.1942, but incorrectly records his date of birth as 09.10.1882.
