SF has suggested (email 28/12/2018) that the 18-year gap between the birth of Hinde and Moses' next child may indicate that Hinde and her subsequent siblings were born to different mothers.

JRI-Poland has a record from Brieg of the death of a Jaeckel Turbin on 31/12/1869 at the age of 78 years, which would put his birth in 1790-91; no other information is provided by this record. Given the rarity of the Turbin surname in Jewish records from the area at this time, Jaeckel is very likely to be a child of Moses. According to Bloch (endnote 119) there is a gap between the births of Joseph (1788) and Jacob (1800) which would accommodate another child. If Jaeckel left Militsch in childhood or early adulthood, Bloch's survey of Jewish families of Militsch may have overlooked him.
