Leader of the synagogue in Beuthen and probably the Simon Nothmann advertising his building materials business in Beuthen in 1881 and 1887. (The births of his children Flora, Martha and Rosa were registered in Beuthen).



His death certificate agrees with other sources regarding his date of death, age, parents and the order of his marriages.

Sonja Delander: Nothmann Chronicle, 1974 - names his wives as (1) Apt and (2) Hollaender, and lists children Julius, Samuel, Hugo, Vally, Selma and Erich; I assume that all but Julius were born to Simon's second wife. A Selma Nothmann was born to Simon Nothmann and Jettel in 1878.
