Notes

Markus lived in Breslau at Kastanienallee 14 with his second wife Erna in ca 1930. Their address in the 1939 census and at Raphael's death was Koernerstrasse 24/26.

Sources differ regarding his year of birth: muzeumzabrze.pl, his death certificate and his entry in the Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930) all say 1880 while www.mappingthelives.org citing the 1939 census says 1881.
