At the time of the 1939 census Louis and Emma were living in Munich at Waldstrasse 18.

In 1913 Louis and Emma were living in Munich at Waldstrasse 18.

Louis was imprisoned in Germany, Dachau concentration camp for 4 days in November 1938.

In August 1939 they were living in Munich at Zielstattstrasse 23.

On 18.11.1941 Louis and Emma were imprisoned in Berg am Laim, a suburb of Munich. Louis died in Munich in January 1942 (his death is noted on his marriage certificate). Emma was deported from Munich to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 17.07.1942 and thence to Auschwitz concentration camp on 18.05.1944.
