Named as a son of Hugo and Paula in a Yad Vashem testimonial; his year and place of birth is given in Yad Vashem records variously as 1901 or 1903 and Ober Lazisk or Kattowitz; however other data in these records such as his birthday and his transportation from Berlin to Auschwitz on 02/03/1943 on the same day as his wife and son suggests the records relate to the same person.
