Named as a son of Hugo and Paula in a Yad Vashem testimonial; his year and place of birth is given in Yad Vashem records variously as 1901 or 1903 and Ober Lazisk or Kattowitz; however other data in these records such as his birthday and his transportation from Berlin to Auschwitz on 02.03.1943 on the same day as his wife and son suggests the records relate to the same person.
