Edith Magner
| Notes At the time of the 1939 census Willy and Edith were living in Berlin-Wilmersdorf at Gieselerstrasse 18/19. Deportation list Photo credit: arolsen-archives.org Willy and Edith were deported from Berlin to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 04.11.1942 and thence to Auschwitz concentration camp on 06.10.1944. The deportation list records Willy as single and Edith as married, but it brackets them together and labels them as Ehepaar (married pair). They have consecutive prisoner numbers on both transports; I assume they were husband and wife. Sources (click here for generic source information) |
