Ruth Malinowitzer
| Notes Ruth is listed in the Breslau synagogue community address list (ca 1930) at Matthiasstrasse 156/158, along with her widowed mother and her siblings; she has the same address in the 1939 census. In 1947 a Ruth Kaiser, born 09.07.1906 in Kattowitz arrived in the US en route from Germany to Ecuador, citing a Mrs Malinowitzer in Ecuador as her nearest relative at home. Ernst Kaiser's 1944 death certificate names his widow as Ruth geb. Malinowitzer and mentions their marriage in Breslau on 39.06.1939. I conclude that all these records relate to the same Ruth Kaiser geb. Malinowitzer, and therefore Ruth survived the Shoah. Ruth and Ernst were deported from Breslau to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 24.02.1943; Ernst died there and Ruth was deported to Auschwitz concentration camp on 15.05.1944.
