Fritz, Else and an assumed daughter, Margot born 11.11.1911, are listed in the 1939 census of Berlin at Karl-Egon-Str 3, VH I. Fritz is recorded as having four Jewish grandparents while Else is listed as having none; Margot is listed as having Jewish paternal grandparents and non-Jewish maternal grandparents. I have not yet found how the family passed the war, but Fritz's death in Berlin's Jewish hospital in 1946, reported by Else living at their pre-war address indicates that the family avoided deportation.
