Ellen Juliane Warkos
| Notes Kurt is listed in the 1939 census of Berlin at Chausseestrasse, 117, VH II. links along with his wife Erna and an Ellen Warkos born 08.10.1929 who I assume is their daughter. Also at this address is Erna's sister Gerta and her husband. German state documents identify Kurt as her father.  Reichsvereinigung der Juden (Kartei)  UK naturalisation notice Kurt and Erna were deported from Berlin to Minsk on 14.11.1941. Ellen's fate is unknown, however a correspondent writes: Ellen survived. She was part of the Kindertransport and found her way to Scotland. She became a State Registered Nurse working in the National Health Service. She married twice and had one child. She died in Scotland in 2024 at the age of 95.
