Baptised on 20/07/1845 at Saint Dunstan, Stepney, London.

A Henry Bunton, son of Edward Bunton, married Elizabeth Kendell, daughter of John Kendell, at St Hilda's, South Shields, on 17/03/1862 - familysearch.org.

The 1861 census for 23 Wilson Street, Westoe, South Shields shows 16 year old Elizabeth at home with her parents John and Ann.

The 1871 census shows Elizabeth Bunton, 26y, seaman's wife, and her mother Ann Kendal, 58y, housekeeper, living at 3 Matlock Street. Henry's brother John lived at 7 Matlock Street at the same time.

The 1881 census for Pittington, County Durham lists Elizabeth Bunton, 35 year old widow born in South Shields, as a house keeper to Isaac Pawson.

I have found no trace of Henry in the censuses of 1861 or later. He may have been at sea at the time of the 1861 and 1871 censuses, and it would appear that he died some time between the 1861 census and the 1881 census.
